Moorside Cottage

No.2 Moorside is a delightful semi-detached cottage dating back to the early 1800's. Our family has owned it for the last 50 years and we hope that guests will enjoy the peace and tranquillity as much as we do.

The property will be available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and visitors are asked to vacate the property by 10.00am on the morning of departure.

Electricity is by £1 coin meter (first £5 provided) and logs for the wood burner are provided. Bed linen can be provided if required.

Locally

There are several local pubs within a 15 minute drive, or for the more energetic a pleasant walk.

For the sake of tranquillity there is no phone at Moorside, and as yet no reception for mobile phones. However, both Brentor and Mary Tavy villages have BT phone boxes.

Both the North and South coast of Devon are about an hour's drive.

Brentor is famous for the church on the 'Tor' and the ancient Stannary town of Tavistock is only 5 miles away. As well as a wealth of history it is well supplied with a range of local shops & two supermarkets. There is also a swimming pool, tennis courts, and The Wharf Arts and Film Centre. Golf and horse riding are within easy reach.
